10/22/21 World Polio Day Sonny Hines will lead a team of Rotarians talking about World Polio Day - one day each year focused on the goal of ending polio worldwide. Polio Day is celebrated and observed on October 24. As a founding partner of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative, Rotary has helped reduce polio cases by 99.9% since 1979.

10/29/2021 The Covid-19 Pandemic and Our Mental Health Presented by Dr. Gary Indenbaum, a licensed practicing psychologist whose guiding philosophy is to provide problem-focused assistance to help people in coping with and overcoming life struggles.
10/8/21 Arrest and Control Techniques Police Sergeant Martin Crisp, a member of the North Carolina State Board on Arrest and Control Techniques, will talk about NC’s mandated control/arrest techniques and when these methods should be safely and appropriately applied. Sgt. Crisp, a 10-year veteran of the Lenoir Police Department, is an arrest/control techniques instructor. He will share with us what the Lenoir Police Department does to ensure suspect safety when making an arrest. Sgt. Crisp, who is also the son of Rotarian Susan Strawn son, will also share a little of his own personal history and his choice and commitment to serve in law enforcement.
10/15/21 RYLA Mike Stevenson from Rotary Youth Leadership (RYLA) will share a program on the intensive leadership experience organized by Rotary clubs and districts designed to help young people develop skills as a leader while having fun and making connections.
10/1/21 I Am Rotary #1 Three long time Rotarians share with our club a little about themselves and their experiences in Rotary. You don't want to miss this meeting as Louise Bradshaw, Dick Mitchell, and Paul Brandenburg inaugurate a new Rotary Club recurring program we are calling "I am Rotary". Moderated by Patrick Longano, this 20 minutes of conversation with veteran Rotarians is designed to build on what is the essence of Rotary - a group of unique, diverse and differently gifted people coming together in fellowship to do good, to make a difference in the world.
